In an era dominated by rapid mass production and repetitive silhouettes, ulooku was established in 2024 by founder and creative director Anna Luo with a singular, resolute conviction: Eyewear should not merely shield your eyes—it should define your presence.

The name ulooku embodies the intimate, dual dialogue between looking and being seen. It is a tribute to radical individuality: as you boldly gaze outward at the world, the world cannot help but look back at you.

Rooted in Shanghai—a metropolis defined by its relentless creative pulse, architectural duality, and avant-garde fashion spirit—the ulooku independent studio exists at the crossroad of two distinct aesthetic subcultures: rebellious body-piercing hardware and delicate contemporary jewelry.

We deconstruct everyday acetate and metal frames, transforming them into sculptural artifacts adorned with industrial stainless steel spikes, captive bead hoops, fluid bows, pavé crystals, and luminous freshwater pearls. Every design is a tactile collision of subversion and elegance.

We proudly reject the impersonal nature of assembly lines. Every single pair of ulooku eyewear is a limited-edition creation, manually hand-drilled, pierced, assembled, and finished by Anna and our dedicated studio artisans.

Because each piece is crafted by hand, no two pairs are ever completely identical. The subtle nuances in every placement reflect genuine human craftsmanship—a slow fashion promise that celebrates the beauty of the unique.

• Global Tracked Delivery: International shipping typically takes 10 to 15 business days to arrive safely at your doorstep in North America, Europe, Australia, and worldwide.
